What is an AI baby generator?

An AI baby generator takes two adult portraits and creates a brand-new image of an imaginary baby inspired by both faces. The AIEnhance.io AI Baby Generator works entirely in your browser: you add one photo for the first parent and one for the second, press Generate and receive a photorealistic portrait of a baby around six months old. It is not a face swap or a filter laid over an existing picture. The model draws a fresh image and uses the two portraits only as visual references.

How the baby generator works

When you upload the two photos, your browser places them side by side and combines them into a single reference image. That reference is sent for processing only when you press Generate. The AI then looks at visible traits such as face shape, skin tone, hair and eye color, and imagines how a baby portrait might borrow a little from each person.

The result is one portrait in a vertical 3:4 format, framed like a classic baby photo, with a neutral background unless you ask for something else. You can upload JPG, PNG or WebP files up to 20 MB each, so most phone photos work without any resizing or editing beforehand.

Choosing photos that give better results

The quality of the reference photos matters more than anything else. Pick clear, front-facing portraits where each face is well lit and easy to see. Even daylight from a window works well, while harsh shadows, strong backlight and dark rooms hide the detail the model needs. Use only one face per photo, because a group shot makes it unclear whose features to use.

Avoid sunglasses, hats that cover the forehead, hair falling across the eyes and heavy beauty filters. Filters smooth out skin and reshape features, so the AI ends up borrowing from the filter instead of the person. A recent, unedited photo taken at roughly eye level is usually the best choice for both parents.

Add optional preferences

Below the uploads there is an optional preferences field where you can describe the look of the portrait in up to 2000 characters. This is where you set the mood: an outfit, a background, the lighting or a small prop. For example, try “cream knitted outfit, soft blue background, gentle studio lighting” or “white cotton onesie, sunny garden, warm afternoon light”.

Keep preferences short and concrete. A few clear details work better than a long paragraph full of competing ideas, and they make it easier to see what each word changed. If you leave the field empty, you get a simple portrait with a neutral background, which is a good starting point before you experiment with outfits, colors and styling.

Ideas for using your baby portrait

Most people use the generator purely for fun. Couples are curious to see a playful mix of their features, friends make a surprise picture for a baby shower or a gender-reveal party, and some families keep the image as a lighthearted keepsake next to their real photos. A baby portrait also makes a good conversation starter in a group chat or a social post, as long as you make it clear that the picture was made with AI.

Getting varied results and trying again

AI generation is not fixed. The same two photos can produce noticeably different babies on each run, with changes in hair, eye shape or expression. That is part of the fun: generate a few versions and keep the one you like best. To steer the result, change one thing at a time, such as the outfit or the lighting, so you can see what made the difference.

You can also switch the model in the selector. Nano Banana 2.5 is selected by default, and other models interpret the same reference in their own way, so a second model can give you a fresh take on the same two photos. If a result disappoints you, replacing one of the source photos with a clearer, better-lit one is often the quickest fix.

Privacy and consent

Only upload photos you have the right to use, and make sure both people agree to take part. A baby portrait combines two real faces, so it is fair to ask before using a partner’s, a friend’s or anyone else’s picture. Do not use the tool to create images meant to embarrass, deceive or harass someone. If you share the result, label it as AI-generated so nobody mistakes it for a photo of a real child.

A creative portrait, not a genetic prediction

It is important to be clear about what this tool cannot do. The AI baby generator does not analyze DNA, does not calculate inheritance and cannot show what a real child would look like. Genetics is far more complex than the visible features in two photos, and siblings with the same parents often look very different from each other. The portrait is an imaginary artwork inspired by your uploads.

Never use the image as evidence of paternity, ancestry or health, and do not rely on it for any medical, legal or family decision. The baby you see is just one of many possible interpretations, and the next run may look quite different. Treat it the way you would treat a caricature or a painted portrait: a fun interpretation, not a fact.

Credits and pricing

New visitors get 20 free credits with no card required, which covers two portraits with the default model. Each generation uses credits, and the exact cost for the selected model is always shown on the Generate button before you start. If you want more attempts, paid credits start from $3. Once you have a portrait you like, you can make small touch-ups in the AI Image Editor or create a larger version with the AI Image Upscaler.
