AIEnhance.io is an online photo restoration tool that takes an old, faded or damaged photo and returns a clear, revived version in seconds. Scan a print from the 80s or 90s, drop in a blurry family photo or an aged film frame, and the AI reconstructs faces, sharpens detail and revives the faded color and contrast.

There is nothing to install and no subscription to start. The whole flow runs in your browser, the same way on a Macbook, a Windows laptop, an iPhone or an Android. You upload, you wait a few seconds, you download the restored photo at full resolution with no watermark.

Demo tools look great on photos that were already in decent shape. The cases that matter are the hard ones: a cracked, yellowed print, a tiny passport photo of a grandparent, a faded scan where the faces have gone soft.

This restoration was tuned for exactly that input. It uses GFPGAN, a model built to rebuild faces and detail in degraded images, so people in an old photo become recognisable again instead of staying as a soft blur. Hair, fabric and fine texture are reconstructed rather than smeared.

The jobs cluster into a few groups:

Uploaded photos are processed in memory on our Railway infrastructure and discarded the moment the restored result is sent back to your browser. No copies are kept, nothing is logged in a way that captures image content, and your photos are never used for training or sold.

That matters because these are personal, often irreplaceable images. The container handles the request, returns the restored photo, and the upload buffer is garbage-collected on the next request cycle.
